Ascot Fencing - We have teamed up with Ascot Fencing in Derby who are recyling any suitable reclaimed wood through us. Weathered timber removed from customers gardens that would previously been burned is now delivered to Delightful Living HQ for a makeover. Once it reaches us it is dried and cleaned and given a new lease of life as hand made signs.

Fraiche Boutique - Something a bit new for us as we were commissioned to make a circular sign for the newly opened Fraiche Boutique in Derby. The shop offers a gorgeous collection of womenswear and accessories with a vintage chic feel and the owners wanted a sign to match. We sourced a reclaimed oak table top for the sign which gave a lovely vintage feel once distressed and the dark wood was revealed beneath the cream finish. You can see our sign hanging outside the shop in The Strand Arcade, Derby.

Anglesey Coastal Holidays - We were commissioned by Anglesey Coastal Holidays to make vintage style coastal signs for a new development of luxury holiday cottages.

Delightful Living and their 'shabby chic' signs caught my attention whilst looking through some glossy magazines last year. At the time we were renovating a barn and farmhouse into five luxury holiday cottages which are perched on a hillside with coastal views. The interiors are of a contemporary feel, but I also wanted to bring in a coastal feel, and the 'signs', which Anne custom made for us using local names and points of interest, worked beautifully. The service provided was impeccable, with a very quick turnaround of product, well presented on arrival, and look fantastic in situ. Belle Toute Lighthouse Hotel - We were commissioned to make signs for the recently renovated Belle Toute Lighthouse at Beachy Head. Current owners, David and Barbara Shaw, have lovingly converted the landmark building into a luxury hotel and thought the coastal feel of our signs was perfect for the guest rooms. The renovation was filmed for Channel 5s 'Build a New Life in the Country' series which was aired in January 2010.

Beach Cottage, Norfolk - THE LOOKOUT sign was designed for 'The Lookout'... a fabulous garden den with wood burning stove and uninterupted sea views at Beach Cottage, a wonderful holiday let in Mundesley, Norfolk. The beautiful beach at Mundesley provided the perfect backdrop for many of our signs featured in the gallery.

Hobbs Café, Monsal Head near Bakewell - Hobbs Café and Craft Centre, with it's spectacular views over the Derbyshire Peak District, commissioned us to make signs for the garden terrace and craft centre.
